Hiring Background
We are hiring a Project Manager to lead enterprise customer projects in Japan and connect customer priorities with the development team.
About the Role
You will lead projects for enterprise customers in Japan, working closely with both customers and the development team.
This role goes beyond tracking progress. You will structure customer requests and clarify each project’s objectives, requirements, and priorities.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage AI and software development projects
Clarify customer requirements and define project scope and deliverables
Coordinate with engineers and designers
Manage schedules, issues, risks, and action items
Lead recurring meetings, product demonstrations, user testing, and production rollouts
Report project status in Japanese and English
Support the transition from proof of concept to production deployment
Required Qualifications
Experience working on projects for major Japanese enterprises
3+ years of customer-facing and project management experience in software development projects
Experience with projects involving software, cloud, AI, or digital transformation
Experience organizing customer requests into clear requirements
Sufficient technical understanding to collaborate effectively with engineers
Business-level Japanese and English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading a proof of concept through production deployment
Experience working at a startup or on a small team
